Well, this week has been a pretty good one. It's been a little more
rough, but we've been able to see a number of miracles even though
it's been a little more scarce than last week as far as teaching has
gone. Unfortunately, one of the families that we did a Harvest
Blessing with last week dropped us. We went back for our appointment
and they tried to hand back the Book of Mormon and the Pamphlets, but
we told them that they were free and that they were a gift to them, so
they ended up keeping them. So hopefully, one day down the road, they
come to a point in their lives where they can be guided to open them
up and be touched by the Spirit and want to learn more.
That was probably the most disappointing news, although we haven't
been able to see Marco Guerrero this whole week. It seemed like he was
gone the beginning of the week and we haven't been able to stop by
recently. But we are going to go by today and we hope to be able to
see him. We also went back by Luis, who was the one who wanted a
Finding Faith in Christ DVD and gave him one. We also met his wife,
who apparently lived right by a Temple in Mexico, and has had a lot of
friends and people she knows from there in Mexico that have converted
to the Church. So she was really interested in learning more and they
both seem like really humble, good people that have sincere desires to
come closer to Jesus Christ. We are probably most excited about them
right now, and we have an appointment set up for tuesday!
We are truly enjoying it here in Cloverdale and having fun trying to
find those elect people and families that are prepared and waiting for
us!! I love y'all and hope y'all have a great Thanksgiving and
piefest!! I'm so grateful for all of you and for what each of you has
done to help and guide me in my life.
Hasta la proxima semana!!
