Hola mi familia y mis amigos!
Well, it's been another great week here in Santa Rosa! Guess what?!
I'm now serving in the first spanish speaking Ward in the mission! The
name was changed to the Lagunas Ward, and we have a new Bishopric now.
Unfortunately our Ward Mission Leader, Hno. Navarro was taken from us
to be one of the new counselors in the Bishopric, and so we currently
have no Ward Mission Leader, and we are really going to miss Hno.
Navarro as our WML because he was one of the best that I've seen in
the mission. But otherwise it was an exciting Sacrament Meeting! We
also had an investigator there! His name is Victor and he's a great
young guy who's in his 20's and we started teaching him because he
lives with a less-active who also came to Sacrament Meeting this
Sunday.
Also, we were able to teach the new family that we found General
Conference Weekend two times this week!! They're the Aguilar family,
and there's the mom, the dad, and their son and daughter who are all
above the age of 8 and are all very interested!! We are really looking
forward to keep teaching them. We've been seeing so many miracles
lately, for example last night we had about 40 minutes to go knock
some doors and while we did we met one guy who met the missionaries a
month and a half ago, and really wanted missionaries to come back on
Tuesday when he was off and we met another lady who we showed the
video Because of Him to at the door and she was really touched by the
Spirit and also wanted us to come back on Tuesday! They were both
English speakers, so we handed them off, but it was definitely a
miracle to meet them both in that short time we had to go knocking.
I love being here on a mission, and I love the opportunity that the
Lord allows me to be in His service. I hope that all of us can feel
that gratitude to Him to be here on this earth and to have the
opportunity to help others in whatever capacity we can.
I love y'all and hope your week is fantastic!!
