Hola mis familiares y amigos!
Bueno pues.... This week has been really different! It's been a really
good week, I love it here in Santa Rosa and my new companion, Elder
Grisham is a good guy and a fun person to be with. We've been working
hard and have had some good days so far.
But, it's been really, really busy. It feels kind of like I'm a greeny
again, because when I was a greeny I felt like I never had enough time
to do everything I wanted to. I got used to it then and it was just
normal for a while as I've just gotten used to the whole mission
lifestyle. But then The Lord through me a curveball with this whole
District Leader thing. Now I feel much the same way, that I don't
quite have enough time to do everything I want to do. But I know that
I just need to get used to the responsibilities and everything and
I'll be alright. I'll just spend a week or two more feeling like a
chicken with its head cut off haha!
On that note, I really am excited for the District The Lord has placed
in my care. The elders and sisters are great and they're all working
hard! There's even a sister fresh from the MTC! It's a fun district
and it's a small mercy that it's a comparatively small one. It means I
can focus more on each individual and their needs and it means I can
do more for each person.
As far as here in Santa Rosa and in the area we have a few
investigators that are pretty cool. The one that I've met that's the
most solid is Ignacio Martinez. He is just starting to read the Book
of Mormon and when he said the prayer to end our lesson he asked
specifically if what we share is true! He has yet to come to Sacrament
Meeting, and hasn't read much of the Book of Mormon, but I know if he
keeps praying to know the truth and acts according to that prayer,
he'll receive an answer, and soon too!
Well, that's all my time. I love y'all and hope your week is fantastic!
