Hola Familia y Amigos!!
This week was a little long, although I'm not exactly sure why. We had a good week where we improved the number of people we were able to teach by a lot. It's still slow and we had a lot of missed/canceled appointments, but what else is new?
We were able to meet with Juan this week, and we had a good lesson with him where we talked about baptism and the fact that he doesn't feel like he's prepared to be baptized, and talked with him about some of the things he can do to feel more prepared. He's still making progress at a slow rate, and he does feel like he wants to be baptized, just isn't committed enough to do the things required to become prepared to be baptized, like come to church, read, stop drinking and all that. We unfortunately didn't have a lesson with Amelia, but we do have one planned for tonight, and we saw her and she seems to be still very interested, she's just been going through some rough times lately. She told us she might have to move/get kicked out of their apartment, but despite that she still wants to meet with us.
Otherwise, we have picked up a few new investigators, including two online ones from Elder Debora's friends. The ability to teach anybody anywhere is amazing. We have been seeing miracles from around the mission from it.
I have to apologize, I don't have much time, but I know some of you have questions about how iPad stuff works and I just wanted to say that most of what you have questions about, I do too :) I can say that teaching online (through the various methods) first off, doesn't, and isn't meant to, replace real, face-to-face teaching by missionaries. We're supposed to continue to focus on our physical area we're in, just supplement it with online teaching. Also the goal of online teaching is to eventually, when the time is right, turn over the online investigator to the missionaries of the area.
Anyways, that's all I have time for. Love y'all and pray for y'all.
